EDINBURGH, Scotland, 26 March 2026 – UK fintech Legado has been shortlisted for Growth Strategy of the Year at the British Business Awards 2026, placing the company among a select group of organisations recognised at a national level for outstanding business performance.

Selected from a record field of more than 400 entries, Legado’s inclusion highlights the strength of its growth strategy and execution across the UK’s regulated financial services sector.

This year’s shortlist also forms The British Business Leaders List, published in partnership with The Times and Sunday Times, placing Legado among organisations recognised for shaping the future of UK business.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 30 April at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), featuring a fireside chat with George Clooney, a keynote from Sir Bob Geldof, and hosted by Rob Brydon and Elaine C Smith.

Founder and CEO Josif Grace said:

Being shortlisted at a national level, from such a competitive field, reflects the progress we’ve made and the impact we’re delivering for financial institutions.

Across the industry, communications are now being treated as critical infrastructure. Our focus has been on helping firms build secure, compliant environments that give them greater control, resilience and efficiency.”

The recognition follows a period of rapid growth and accelerating adoption across regulated financial services. Legado has seen triple-digit growth over the past year and is now approaching 500,000 users as firms continue to modernise customer communications and document infrastructure.

Legado continues to expand its footprint across the building society sector and broader financial services market, supporting organisations including FNZ, Quilter and Scottish Building Society.
